I am tasked with a most honorable duty, to transmit a message from the editor:
"Commencing today, I will post daily for the upcoming week. During my capricious and illusive stay in Prague, my blog will delve into every letter of this Kafkian superstition of a city. And I now proudly pass the torch to the wonderful and eager Meneer St. Potter. Laudate mundum ad inveniendam imperfectionem.
Heartful wishes, O.K"
P-Purity - A Diary from Prague
-26th of January
"Purity" in the utmost Christian case is, for lack of a better term, the state of being clean. Consequently, virtuous Christians are tasked with purifying themselves inside and out. Purity consists of innocence, "clean hands," and an "empty stomach."
Purity is transcending your inner perverted Freudian, of abandoning your dirty ego, your frenetic sexuality, your devilish beast: "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immortality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry." (Colossians 3:5) "...you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips." (Colossians 3:8) And now faith demands you to follow Christ in God (Colossians 3:3) and consequently "When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." (Colossians 3:4). Amen.
"Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure." (1 Timothy 5:22)
Being yourself is one of the purest ways to go about life. Give yourself to yourself, and there you find truth; faith, and love for God. As such it is very much true that beauty is found in the eyes of the beholder. Be righteous, obtain purity, encompass goodness, and the jewelry of life will reveal unto you. Bequeath your life to purity, that is the exemplary follower of Christ.
Offer yourself to the Holy Ghost, to God, as said in (Romans 12:1-2): "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Transcend the earthly, such petty sexual affairs are beyond salvation, give yourself to greatness, and He will grant you any glory you seek, but only to the pure seeker: for he knows not to seek, and not to take, he knows to sacrifice and believe, for eventually mercy strikes in the memory of Themis and grants justice and beauty to the faithful servant. But fear not, such a service is not humiliation, bowing before God is the purest of all, it is utmost beauty.
Do not wait -- only once can you strike perfectly, discover insanity without madness, and cry tears of joy, and it is often said that "love comes henceforth."
It is time to say "Aye" to Aye Ego. Goodbye and hope to see you never again -- and thanks again for purifying my heart.
I was once asked, "How did faith reveal itself, hail you, St. Potter?"
I answered: "In purity."
"You do not seek mercy and help from thy Lord by waiting for some angel to cleanse your hands, your shattered soul. No, you give yourself to thy Lord. You walk the snow-covered thin ice, you listen mindfully in daring fortitude for cracks below your feet, and you idolize the silent birds and white-blue sky. I glance up at the light, and now I am sure, even if I were to sink at this very moment, drown in the frozen lake, I had discovered the greatest of all human deeds, I had cleansed my very own soul -- for in that very instant I knew not to wait for my Lord, I was to sacrifice myself unto Him, to walk the stairway to Heaven. And from that day I have always cleaned my hands and the splendid heavenly mercy has rained down on me in plentitude."
Honor the mother of mercy, the purest of all, Holy Mary, Mother of God:
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus,
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Heavenly wishes,
St. Potter
